A little bit about me…

My career has uniquely blended communications, public relations, user research, and a burgeoning interest in impact investing and finance. In my experience with Communications and PR, I've learned the importance of clear, persuasive messaging, especially regarding leadership decisions.

Sustainable Finance and Environmental Advocacy:

Sustainability is not just a passion for me; it's a way of life. My upbringing on a 300-acre farm, which my father transformed into a regenerative agriculture model, instilled in me a strong sense of environmental responsibility. This background fuels my current academic endeavor: pursuing a Master’s in Environmental Sustainability Management at Georgetown University. I also explore how financial tools and investments can drive positive environmental change, aligning with my professional focus on user research.

Art and Creativity:

My love for art finds expression in my volunteer role as a Studio Arts Representative at the Smithsonian Associates. Assisting students in diverse artistic endeavors, from drawing to photography, I enjoy the opportunity to merge creativity with teaching and learning.

Other Personal Interests:

Outside of my professional and academic pursuits, you may find my nose buried in the latest fantasy novel, hiking in a nearby national park, baking up a delicious pastry, or playing our points on the tennis court.
